Latin Club

 The Latin Club at Maloney consists of present and past Latin students who work together to promote the Latin language and its relevance today.  Activities include yearly participation in State Latin Day held every May at Holiday Hill with nearly 2,000 Latin students from across the state.  Latin students build their own catapult and chariot for this event.  As a community service project, Latin Club sponsors needy families at Christmas.  Students also take the National Latin   examination which offers scholarships and awards.
